About the Role

Following recent internal promotions and transfers, we are seeking experienced Gantry Crane Operators to support operations at our new state-of-the-art Steel Distribution Centre in Drury South Crossing.

We have the afternoon shift available only - 10:30am to 7:00pm

Key Accountabilities 

  • Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch using the Overhead Gantry Crane and Forklift
  • Loading and unloading trucks of steel using crane and forklift
  • Receiving inwards goods
  • Completing stock takes, and associated paperwork relating to the warehouse
  • Health and Safety observations and SOP updates 

The following attributes are essential for the right person:

  • Gantry Crane certificate or willing to obtain if you have relevant Gantry Crane experience - we will be asking for your 30072 and 3800 NZQA qualifications, attaching these with your application will make you a standout applicant. 
  • Previous experience in a steel warehouse is preferred
  • Up-to-date forklift certificate, if expired please let us know in your application
  • Current full & clean NZ driver's license, F endorsed preferred
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written.
