DOT Crane Operator

CDL Crane Operator needed for large, busy oilfield company.  We specialize in rig moves but handle other crane jobs as well.   Must be available to work weekends as needed.  Job requires some travel. 

• Operate crane and other equipment in a safe manner following all company, state, federal, DOT, and OSHA regulations. 
• Must set up crane on location in a safe and professional manner
• Assemble and install supporting structures, rigging, hoist and pulling gear with assistance from crane rigger
• Select appropriate gear, shackles and cables for load size and conditions
• Test rigging to ensure safety and reliability before hoisting and lifting
• Communicate effectively with crane rigger both verbally and with hand signals
• Must be able to operate hand and power tools as needed to prepare loads for moving
• Must be able to calculate load percentage by using load charts
• Inspect truck and trailer before operating the vehicle
• Properly fill out required paperwork including inspection reports, maintenance requests, and timecards
• CDL required with 1-3 years heavy haul experience
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions in which it is safe for a crane to operate
• Ability to work at heights
• Must work well with a team
• Comply with all OSHA safety and environmental regulations
