• You will operate various hydraulic boom cranes to load, unload, move, and position heavy materials and equipment.
• You will make critical decisions regarding clearance requirements and recognize dangerous load situations to ensure safe operations.
• You will apply your skills in using crane controls to make rapid judgments about lifting capacity, often in areas with restricted maneuverability.
• You will ensure safety and housekeeping rules are followed, use personal protective equipment, and work in accordance with all required directives and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• You will complete the Operator's Daily Checklist (ODCL) to document pre- and post-crane inspections.

• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
• You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
• You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
• You will be required to possess and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.

The Screen-out Element for this position: THE ABILITY TO DO THE WORK OF THE POSITION WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION Your resume must show that you have the ability to perform common tasks including: 1) Must have at least one year of experience in the operation of mobile cranes; 2) Possess knowledge of and have the ability to perform, crane operating, weight handling, and rigging operations procedures, regulations, processes, and operations of Category 1 weight handling equipment; 3) Must possess a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or the ability to obtain one; 4) Able to obtain a crane operator's physical; and 5) Ability to effectively communicate.
