Crane Operator

Position: Crane Supervisor

Immediate Supervisor: Operations Manager

Status: Non-Exempt

General Purpose of Position: Safety operate 100 ton + cranes, lifting wireline pressure control equipment, isolation tools, valves, and other items associated with oil and gas industry, and supervisor other Crane Operators.

Essential Job Duties:

1. Directly supervise and oversee the work of Crane Operators.
2. Safely and efficiently operate crane.
3. Understand and assist in rigging lifting equipment.
4. Keep up with day-to-day maintenance of crane, ensuring crane is kept in clean and proper working order.
5. Perform thorough inspections of equipment and report any identified issues to onsite supervisor immediately.

Additional Job Duties:

1. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Environment: Frequent exposure to outdoor elements including wet, humid conditions and extreme heat or cold. Exposure to oils and other materials on location. High noise level.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. 4-7 years related experience.
3. NCCCO Certification.
4. Large Boom Telescopic Swing Cab Card.
5. Must be able to pass physical and drug test and comply with regulations.
6. Must be able to stand, sit, bend, or climb for long periods of time.
7. Must have a current CDL with acceptable MVR.
8. Must be 18 years or older.
9. Occasional stooping, kneeling, standing, and walking on uneven surfaces.
10. Frequent climbing, balancing, reaching, sitting, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motions.
11. Frequent carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lbs.
12. Ability to follow directions.
13. Ability to work irregular hours.
14. Comply with all Stingray policies and procedures and all health and safety policies.
