Duties & Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Code 14 heavy commercial vehicle.
  • Operate a truck-mounted crane to load and offload electrical equipment and materials.
  • Load, transport, and offload cable drums, mini substations, and other electrical components.
  • Safely load and unload TLBs using the truck's loading ramps.
  • Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any defects.
  • Ensure all loads are correctly secured before transportation.
  • Complete delivery documentation and vehicle logbooks accurately.
  • Adhere to all road traffic regulations and company safety policies.
  • Maintain the truck, crane, and associated equipment in a clean and serviceable condition.
  • Work with site personnel to ensure safe lifting and unloading operations.
  • Report incidents, accidents, or equipment failures immediately.
  • Assist with general operational duties when required.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Valid Code 14 Driver's Licence.
  • Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
  • Valid Truck Mounted Crane Operator Certificate.
