We’re seeking experienced Telecommunications Technicians/Riggers to join our Energy & Utilities team based from Hornby, Christchurch.
Work across mobile and ISP networks, delivering installation, commissioning, maintenance and fault response services across multiple client environments.
This role includes both tower-based rigging and ground-level technical work, ensuring all assets are installed, tested and commissioned safely, efficiently, and to specification. As workloads increase, you’ll also support other regions, so flexibility to travel is required.
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same — from builds and upgrades to fault response, testing, and high-quality as-built documentation, all while upholding Downer’s Zero Harm culture.
