Intermediate & Advanced Riggers | Milmerran Power Station Shutdown
 
Engineering Trades Australia (ETA) is recruiting experienced Intermediate and Advanced Riggers for a major shutdown at Milmerran Power Station, QLD. Join a safety-focused team delivering critical maintenance and refurbishment works on a planned power station outage. Previous shutdown, mining, energy or heavy industrial experience is highly regarded.

What's on Offer

  • $55.00/hr + penalties
  • 11–12 hour shifts
  • Day & night shift opportunities
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex rigging and lifting operations
  • Install and remove mechanical equipment and structural steel
  • Work safely around cranes and heavy plant
  • Follow lift plans, permits and site safety procedures
  • Support shutdown maintenance activities
Requirements
  • Intermediate or Advanced Rigging HRWL
  • Current Confined Space & Working at Heights
  • Gas Test Atmospheres
  • Forklift Licence (LF)
  • White Card & current driver's licence
  • Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test
Previous experience on power station shutdowns, mining, oil & gas or heavy industrial maintenance is highly desirable.
