Civmec is proud to be supporting Eneabba Rare Earths Refinery Project in collaboration with Iluka Resources with a further package of work for the structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation (SMPE&I) installation works across the facility.

As Australia’s first fully integrated rare earths refinery, this milestone development is driving innovation—and we’re building a skilled team to help bring it to life.

The Role

We are seeking experienced Riggers to join this project with casual and full-time roles available for this long‑term project. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team contributing to a major infrastructure build in WA’s Mid‑West.

Location: Eneabba, WA (Mid-West Region) 

Roster: 2 weeks on (11.5 working days) , 1 week off. Company-provided bus transport to and from site, departing from and returning to Perth Airport. 

Rates & Conditions

Casual Employment

  • $57.99 per hour inclusive of 25% casual flat loading + penalties, $4.00 per hour site allowance

Fulltime Employment 

  • $46.39 per hour + penalties, $4.00 per hour site allowance, $200 travel allowance per completed swing, $100 per week project completion bonus accrual, 1.75 hours per week severance accrued for complete week

About You

  • Minimum 3 years’ rigging experience (RI or RA) with current high risk work licences
  • Heavy steel erection experience
  • Multi-point rigging assemblies experience
  • Tank construction/work experience
  • Experience with lift plans and lifting activities
  • Machinery levelling and anchoring experience
  • Super Lift crane setup experience (advantageous)
  • Current, White Card, Working at Heights,  EWP Licence and VOC
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
