Qualifications
As a Senior Red Seal Crane Mechanic, you will take ownership of maintaining and troubleshooting a modern fleet of mobile cranes. This role requires minimal supervision and strong diagnostic capability.
Responsibilities
- Advanced diagnostics, repair, and preventive maintenance on mobile cranes
- OEM-standard servicing of Liebherr, Tadano, and Manitowoc/GMK/National cranes
- Hydraulic, electrical, electronic control, engine, and drivetrain troubleshooting
- Completion of safety and compliance inspections
- Field service and breakdown response as required
- Mentoring and technical support for junior mechanics when applicable
- Maintaining accurate service records and documentation
Qualifications
- Red Seal Journeyperson certification (Heavy Equipment Technician or Truck & Transport)
- Proven experience working specifically on mobile cranes
- Factory/OEM training on Liebherr, Tadano, Manitowoc, and/or Link-Belt cranes (strong asset)
- 5+ years of crane-specific experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret OEM manuals, schematics, and diagnostic software
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license (Class 3 and air brakes an asset)
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
