Job Summary
Pronto Staffing is hiring a crane operator for a local manufacturing facility. In this role, you will safely lift and move heavy materials using an overhead bridge crane. This is a great opportunity for a reliable worker looking for steady, long-term work on a two-year project.
Responsibilities
Operate overhead bridge cranes to safely move and position heavy materials and concrete components
Inspect crane equipment before every shift and report any safety concerns right away
Use proper rigging tools like slings, chains, and hooks safely
Work closely with spotters, forklift drivers, and supervisors during large lifts
Follow all safety rules and keep your work area clean and clear of hazards
Help with loading and unloading materials to keep production moving on time
Requirements
Previous experience operating overhead bridge cranes in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Good knowledge of safe lifting, rigging, and balancing heavy loads
Great attention to detail and ability to handle large materials safely
Ability to speak English or Spanish
Strong history of being on time, reliable, and working well with a team
Background check and drug screening may be required
Work Environment
Outdoor industrial facility with dust, noise, and changing temperatures
Ability to stand and walk for long periods during the shift
Ability to climb stairs, ladders, or platforms to reach crane controls
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, reach, and stoop frequently
Must have excellent depth perception, hand-eye coordination, and spatial awareness
