Join us!Sterling Crane has an exciting opportunity for a Crane Operator (Journeyperson/Red Seal or 3rd Year Apprentice) based in our Prince George, BC branch.
JOB TYPE: Straight-time hourly position, unionized.
LOCATION: Sites of business operation as required, branch located at 9157 Rock Island Road, Prince George, BC (on-site).
Responsibilities (Including but not limited to)
Assisting crane operators in assembly, disassembly and transport of cranes.
Rigging of equipment.
Assist mechanic with the maintenance of cranes and general duties in the shop and yard.
Delivery of equipment and rigging as needed.
Qualifications:
3rd year apprentice or Journeyperson certificate.
Class 1A driver’s license is required.
The successful candidate must demonstrate safe work practices, follow company policies and be able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
The successful candidate will be required to be in good standing with IUOE 115 or become members of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 115.
