Crane Operator

What We Offer PTO starting on your first day of employment Career growth and advancement opportunities Overtime opportunities available 401(k) with company match up to 3% Low-cost medical, dental, and vision insurance Company-paid life insurance Company-paid disability insurance Paid training and advancement opportunities What You’ll Do: Operate material handler (Grapple) and excavators to move and process metal Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment Work outdoors in all weather conditions Support the team with additional duties as needed   What We’re Looking For: 2 years of previous experience with material handling and excavators  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying weather conditions Strong work ethic, teamwork skills, and ability to multitask Must pass a background check, physical, and drug screening Required Skills & Abilities OSHA or safety certification preferred (not required) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with scrap metal materials and commodities is a plus Ability to perform all physical, mental, and environmental job functions Comfort working in all weather conditions including heat, cold, and rain Strong time management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills Effective verbal and written communication skills Education & Experience High School Diploma or GED required Minimum 2+ years of consecutive crane operating experience required Work Environment & Physical Requirements Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, wind) May be exposed to moving mechanical equipment and heavy industrial activity Noise levels may be high; hearing protection is required Requires prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking Frequent bending, kneeling, and physical movement required Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Work may include confined spaces and other industrial conditions requiring PPE #LI-OnsiteIND02
