Salary:  R13 000 - R25 000 CTC per month


Minimum requirements:
  • Grade 12
  • ​Valid South African Code 14 (EC) Driver’s License.
  • ​Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
  • ​Accredited Mobile Crane Operator Certificate for the specific tonnage (e.g., C33, C35, or C36 codes).
  • ​Must be registered with a SETA-accredited training provider.
  • ​Valid Certificate of Fitness (Medical) from an Occupational Health Practitioner Or must be able to obtain one.
  • ​Minimum of 3–5 years of experience operating mobile cranes.
  • ​Proven experience with high-capacity units (200t+) is highly advantageous for large-scale industrial projects.
  1. Roles will include but not limited to:
  • ​Execute complex lifts using mobile cranes, maintaining stability and precision in various terrain and weather conditions.
  • Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of hydraulic systems, structural integrity, wire ropes, hooks, and safety devices (LMI/SLI).
  • ​Interpret load charts, determine boom configurations, counterweight setups, and calculate ground pressure/outrigger loadings.
  • ​Work closely with Riggers and Banksmen using standard hand signals and two-way radio communication.
  • ​Perform basic maintenance (lubrication, fluid top-ups) and immediately report any mechanical defects or safety hazards.
  • ​Ensure loads are correctly rigged and balanced before initiating any hoist.
  • Maintain accurate logbooks, inspection checklists, and lift records as required by South African law
